Daily Routines
At our nursery, we recognise the importance of daily routines in helping children feel happy, secure and confident. A consistent and predictable day provides children with a sense of stability, allowing them to understand what comes next and feel comfortable in their surroundings. Through regular routines, such as group times, mealtimes, outdoor play and tidy-up activities, children develop independence, build positive relationships and learn important life skills. Our carefully planned daily routine creates a nurturing environment where every child can thrive, explore and enjoy their learning experiences.
Self Registration
The children and parents are greeted at the main door by the Nursery staff. The children enter the nursery independantly, find their name card to complete self-registration. The children are encouraged to hang up their coats on their
named peg.
Activity Time
Children take part in self chosen and adult led activities. We use a free flow system where children choose where they learn. Time to tidy up is usually done to a sing -a-long song
Snack Time
Throughout the morning, the children have the opportunity to have snacks. We supervise the children to develop their cutting and pouring skills.
Home Time
Children have group time at the end of each session. This could be a story, music time or a game and held with their keyworker.
